Start of the renovation of the two units
for Maxillofacial Prosthetics
and one unit for Palliative care in the Oncologic
Hospital in Chisinau
7 December 2009
After 2,5 years of preparation, with many meetings and licenses and budget planning. The renovation starts the 7th of December 2009.
ACASA, the Association for Charity and Social Assistance in Chisinau, Moldova will supervise the renovation.
The funds are raised by:
- The Foundation “Smiles for Moldova”, e.g. National Academic main sponsor of the kayak fundraising tour of Jorgen van der Pol;
-The Het Innovatiefonds Zorgverzekeraars”
- NCDO. ( National Committee for International Cooperation and Sustainable Development)
After the renovation of the three health care units in the basement of the hospital the third floor of the Head and Neck Oncology Department will be renovated.
For the renovation of the third floor forty percent of the funds is still needed and in process.
